Hey guys,

Just giving a quick heads-up...

My wife has been suffering with gastroparesis for the last year or so and we've finally got approval for a gastric pacemaker that should improve the symptoms (yay!).

The problem is that the surgery is on the 5th and takes some significant recovery. My mother-in-law is coming down to assist but it's likely I will be in-and-out during the course of the event. I live about an hour away so it's not too bad.

My plan is to come up Thursday afternoon and get things set up. It's likely I won't be able to spend the night but we'll see how it goes.

Saturday I will leave early in the morning to check in at home and should be back up there by 10:30.

Pedro and Mike will be able to handle organizational stuff in my occasional absence.

Wow, you have been facing some challenges this year. I appreciate how you are keeping the organization of this event going! I'm looking forward to this. I'll be bringing my dutch oven for some type of desert for the pot luck.
