    Sure thing, Duderonomy:

    From the 15 (East Side):

Take Exit 77 to get on to Highway 74
    Head West (Towards the lake)
    Right on Collier (light)
    Left on Riverside Dr (light)
    Pass the lake
Riverside Drive curves to the left and becomes Grand
Turn Right on Ortega Highway 74 up the mountain
Go up the hill to just a mile or two past the crest
Get off the highway by making a right at No. Main Divide road
No. Main Divide road is just before a campground on the right
Take the paved road in the middle (DO NOT GO TO THE SITE RIGHT BY THE HIGHWAY)
You will go about 15 minutes back and likely feel like you have gone too far.
Look for potholes and narrow roads.
Follow Signs to Falcon Group Campsite
Lupine is the second site and Yarrow is the last site
    We have both

    From the 5 (West Side):

Take Exit 82 to get on to Highway 74
Head East (Into the Mountains) for about 23 miles
Make a left on to No. Main Divide road just after the fire station (on the right)
No. Main Divide road is just after a campground on the left
Take the paved road in the middle (DO NOT GO TO THE SITE RIGHT BY THE HIGHWAY)
You will go about 15 minutes back and likely feel like you have gone too far.
Look for potholes and narrow roads.
Follow Signs to Falcon Group Campsite

David at Hammeck has donated a $50.00 Gift Certificate for our raffle at the SoCal Hangers 4th Annual April Fools Group Hang!

If you havent seen Hammeck gear yet, do yourself a favor and give it some investigation.
When shopping for gear, please remember their support of the hammock community and generous donation to our raffle which will benefit Homes For Our Troops!. "HFOT" is a charity whose prime purpose it to build mortgage-free, specially adapted homes nationwide for severely injured Veterans Post-9/11, to enable them to rebuild their lives.
All of our vendors have gone the extra mile with a generous donation to our raffle to raise funds to America's veterans. Lets go the extra mile to support their business. Hammeck is located in Lancaster County, PA. They specialize in hammocks and other related accessories. They make everything right here in the USA, and source nearly all of their materials from domestic suppliers. They take a lot of pride in their craftsmanship, and are certain you will too.

How about inviting a representative from Homes For Our Troops to the hang. It would be interesting to hear more about their operation

I'm in contact with them and they're considering that possibility.

At the very least, we should have some paperwork about them to look at.

Willie, any thoughts about starting a list of stuff for the potluck so we end up with a good variety? Nothing worse than having 5 people all bringing the same thing... lol

PS.. whatever I bring will probably be storebought.... Im not exactly what you'd call a great chef...

Rather than starting and maintaining another list (the managing of this thing is getting to be a bit much for me) what we have done in years past was to just post what you plan on bringing in this thread. We've never formalized it and it's always worked out.

Don't worry about something being store bought. Plenty of good options straight from the store. You can also work it out based on what others post. For example, if someone is bringing potatoes to bake, maybe you could offer to bring the butter, salt, pepper, sour cream, etc... Or handle it however you want. It always works out

Posting in this thread will help avoid duplicates. It has the added bonus of usually starting up some fun conversation

    With that said...

I've brought chili in the past but this year I'm bringing something new.

I'm bringing Peruvian-Style Fish and Shrimp Ceviche. Friday night.
