9' Dutchware Hexon 1.0

Ill save you all talk about Dutch being the go to guy and how accommodating of custom requests he is...you all know that already. I will tell you all how when this hammock came shipped with the incorrect length SRL he personally resolved it, above and beyond my realistic expectations...im talking text messages and a phone call at 10:30pm. Does the man ever stop working?

Anyway, I know you all want the details and at least one picture though. My 8 year old has been begging for her own hammock so I agreed she could get one for Christmas. We decided on a 9' Hexon 1.0 in 'Brilliant Blue' with knotty mods and cinch buckles with the sew on Dutchclips. Shes been using my Hammock Gear Phoenix for an UQ (which is full length on her) and her sleeping bag for a TQ. We got out in the woods a few days after Christmas and its worked great. She said she slept through the night and cant wait to go again.

Without further adieu, my lovely daughter testing her new gift on the porch on Christmas day...

That's awesome, I love when kids get into the outdoors, especially in hammocks.

Good for her. I hope she enjoys. My 9 year old granddaughter uses one of my hammocks, but I guess I should get her her own soon.

I think this is a really good option for kids. Its very light, the knotty mod takes up all the extra fabric, at 9' she isnt swimming in it but still has room to grow into it, and the cinch buckles and dutch clip are easy enough for a kid to use. Plus she has the 'pride of ownership' thing going on knowing this hammock was purchased specifically with her in mind and wasnt a hand me down.
