Looking at and hanging up my Hammock Pod System. This is my go-to for sub 0º camping.
Comprised of my Western Mountaineering Alpinlite 20º down mummy sleeping bag.....http://www.westernmountaineering.com...ies/alpinlite/
Then I use my 30º Hammockgear top quilt. That fills any gaps I may have on top...http://hammockgear.com
Then I use my DIY Frankenquilt UQ under me inside the pod.

Great video as always. We don't quite hit those temps here in Northern Va but we drop into the single digits for sure and I always enjoy getting out in the winter.

Another worth watching video, thanks Shug, down here in jersey we have not even seen a flake of snow yet.
It just started getting colder this past week, we were in the 70's on Christmas, so if ya get some extra snow send it down to us..

I have had good results with the Stegers by putting the felt liner inside the felt boot. One liner inside and the other in the bottom of the boot in order to compare as to comfort and moisture. Is your frost bitten finger more sensitive to cold this year? Have a great camp out.

I was thinking about getting that Sven stove.. Why not just go with that? Thoughts? I know they weigh more but less to go wrong would be a selling point on it.. I thought of just going with either my Nomad, FourDog III or my Emberlite and maybe rely on the Fancee Feest for quick morning coffee etc.
