Not a ton of selling to do here. lf you like a firm, low stretch hammock that's also soft, this fabric is for you. What we've done is a 1.6 oz polyester square grid ripstop. This isn't the lightest possible poly, but poly isn't as strong as nylon, so I felt it best to go with something more robust. The high points:
- What's the weight limit? Estimated 300 lbs
- How's the feel? I specifically designed for the softest possible hand feel. Not quite as soft as 1.6 HyperD, but one of the softest polyester fabrics you will find.
- What colors? Dark Brown, Olive Green, and Khaki. More to follow in the next month or so.
- Has anyone worked with 1.6 oz poly ripstop? I've worked with this fabric and I think you'll find it very easy to sew. Holds a crease well due to it's dense weave.
- Price? $4.75 /yd
