Suspension change for 10 vs 11 foot hammocks?

I have both sizes of hammocks as well as 3/4 and full length UQs from HG and JrB. My question is, do you make any changes to the suspension of your quilt for using different sizes of hammocks? I have heard of people tying a knot in the main UQ suspension that hooks to the hammock and I noticed that my JRB has a cord lock that can be used to shorten the suspension. Do you shorten the suspension for a ten footer and use full length for an 11? Thanks in advance!

Yes, I shorten or lengthen my UQ suspensions depending on the hammock. With HG it's not that important, though, as long as the primary suspension is not too tight or too slack, since the secondary suspension makes up for a primary suspension that is less tight.

And then there are UQs that come with suspension specifically made to fit 10' hammocks. They, of course, need to have the suspension augmented or changed.
