Who's Interested in a hang early to mid Feb @ Mohican.
I've been to site 9&10 which are both awesome. Never been to the smaller numbered sites so I'm open to that.

Directionally challenged...comicly so.

My On Call work schedule was just posted today for 2016 and as of now I'm good for any weekend except for the 12th - 14th. Looking at the January hang it maybe ether the weekend of the 22nd or the 29th, so the last two weekends of February may give people time to get back out. Though I'd consider doing back to back weekend if that is what works best for others.
As for locations, site 9 and 10 are always good if available and 8 is nice for a smaller group, with a lot of ground cover, clear places to hang can be limited but winter is better and it provides some shielding from the wind. I have not camp the lower sites but 1, 2 and 3 have a stream near by and sit 2 definitely requires a water crossing which to me would be less idle for a winter outing.

I'd like to do a Mohican hang. I've never camped there, only day hiked. I did walk through all the camp sites but that was 2 years ago so can't really remember much about them. As of now any weekend in February works for me.
Hi All,
Well I got my under quilt. And Santa brought me some new gear. So I am itching to take it out. I am currently waiting for a new Winter tarp. Hopefully it will be done in time. I am going to try to make this one. I agree with Diz though, a little later in the month may work better for a better turn out.

20th or 27th work for me. Let's see if we get any other input before picking the site.

Ok so now I'm down to just the 27th working.
For Mohican I can make any of the weekends it is only about an hour from my house. My only issue with the other sites would be weather dependent. If we get a bunch of snow it could be an issue getting back into some of the sites, as not all of us have pulks.
Maybe I just need to build a pulk...
I can make it any weekend, but with the caveat that I'm not set up for really cold weather yet. This upcoming January hang may give me a better idea.
I've been to 9 and 10 and, as noted, they are really nice for a group. No experience with the other sites, but would love to try them. So, in my mind, any site is good.
