New "Hot Box" Footbox Design for Ghost Pepper and Serrano topquilts

IMHO the Ghost Pepper has been one of the newest innovations in topquilt design to come out in quite a while. The one thing I've never been 100% satisfied with was the design of our insulated footbox. Well, that has now changed.

Starting immediately all Loco Libre Gear topquilts that are ordered with the insulated footbox option will be made with our new "Hot Box" footbox design. This includes all quilts that have already been ordered but not built yet.

The "Hot Box" is a step up in warmth in that it isn't a pillow sewn into the bottom of the quilt, but an integrated down system. There is no break in the insulation, as the last baffle (we added an extra baffle) is 100% top to bottom down. That gives you a 2" to 3" wall of down (depending on quilt model) as a barrier against the cold. I believe this new design places the Ghost Pepper and Serrano quilts at the level of the best quilts on the market!

George, very kind of you to include this design improvement to those already in line. It's clearly more work.
Says a lot about your passion to build the best product possible.

    Sincerest thanks!

I like it. Ghost Pepper is next on my list of must haves and now even more so. Just need to recover from all that holiday spending first. What's the typical turn time around on a new GP?

Hopefully soon. Time is not my friend, but I hope in the next few weeks.
