    Greetings from NE Tennessee!

    Hello!
I'm new to the forum, but just wanted to drop in to introduce myself. I'm new to hammock camping, but I'm looking forward to more experiences in the near future.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a good solar lantern for hanging?

    Thanks!

Sorry no suggestions on the solar lantern. But a big welcome from Strasburg PA!

Welcome from the Jersey Shore. I'll abstain from commenting on the solar lantern as well, since it holds no interest for me!

Here's a good deal on the lanterns albeit a bit of a pain to order.

Welcome from Nashville. Just got an inflatable Luci Aura solar hanging lantern as Christmas gift. Have not had chance to use it on a hike or kayak trip, but expect it to be better suited for the latter, as it requires a lot of hours of DIRECT sunlight to fully charge.

I've seen them at a hammock hang and was impressed.

I think the web site is www.mpowerd.com

Thanks for the kind welcome, I'll be sure to check out the lanterns! I hope to see y'all at the hang in Florida in a couple of weeks. It sounds like a lot of fun. It will also be nice to get in some winter kayaking

Welcome and +1 on the luci lights. I have used mine for a couple of years with a small carabineer hung from my ridgeline works great. https://www.mpowerd.com/luci/aura
