I'm going to see if I can swing that week-end away. I will be starting a new job that week and don't know my schedule yet. I'm also in Spokane and that is a 6 hour drive depending on the weather. What is the Pulk you are talking about? I've never seen that in hammock hanging. Thanks

I hope Shug doesn't mind that I am borrowing this video to show you what the pulk is. He uses basically the same set up that most of us use.

The big difference is the little touches we have personalized for our pulk sleds.
Basic components: Jet Sled Jr. Poles, and a way to attach them to the sled.
Hope that helps, hope to see ya at the hang.

For any newbies reading this, although pulks are neat and useful, you don't need one to come to this hang. It's just a short walk from parking lot to campground carrying a backpack.

Thanks. I watched the video and it looked like it was a nice trek in. What type of food do people bring for the pot luck? I'm 6 hours away and wanted to know what I need to bring...if I'm off.

    Pot Luck:
Bring your favorite camp dish.. NO Mountain House!
Last year we had some good Dutch Oven cooking and plenty of good sharing food.
Here what I propose for this years Pot Luck...
Reply to this post whether you are bringing a Main Dish, a Side Dish, or a Dessert.
Then we will all be pleasantly surprised on Saturday evening at the Pot Luck.
    I'll start.
I am bringing a Main Dish.. cooked in the Dutch Oven.
