    FL > Keys hangin

I'm heading down to Marathon, Fl next week for some vacay. I'm taking my hammeck envy, a 50º synthetic tq, and a 2qZq underquilt protector. The predicted nighttime lows during the whole time I'll be down there is in the mid 70s. Does this sound like it will be sufficient setup for a few nights out under the stars?

Are you a warm sleeper or a cold sleeper? Some folks, myself included, like an UQ in the 70s. The UQ protector should help some. Do you have a poncho liner? Could use that under you if you got slightly chilly.

I tend to be a warm sleeper. I do have 1 down 3/4 length uq that I might be able to fit, but my bag is packed pretty tight already.

I think that setup is fine personally. When we went down it was in August and it was hot as hell. But nights weren't to bad, you could have your hammock out and the sea breeze would keep you cool enough to sleep. However, not that the its "florida winter" it could be cool or it could be cold. However, as long as you have something to break the wind you should be ok. The coldest we've seen in St. Pete has been around 45 degrees so far. But the temp's a little warmer in the keys. You should do fine.

    Enjoy the stars.
