another quick trip. fast in; fast out. took tons of gear, which is typical for me on fast hike-in/hang/hike-out trips.
disclaimers: these vids are primarily made for friends and such that aren't much the camper, and certainly not hammockers. fyi.

Very cool, wish we were on the trail too. Looks like you two had a great trip.
I tried some meals from Hawk Vittles and didn't have the same reaction. They just wouldn't rehydrate well. I tried rehydrating them different ways but just never was happy with their products. I ended up giving 5 of their marls away. They have some delicious sounding options for meals though.

btw; about camp meals. the only places i know of to get them retail [in LR] are academy sports, wal mart [VERY slim selection] and ozark outdoors on kavanaugh. do you know of any others?
i get most of mine online directly, but a local source would be great. ozark isn't bad; i just don't really like going in the place. they hate hammockers.
