New Underground Quilt 0 degree is finally here!

Last year I splurged on an Underground quilt 0 degree TQ and I loved it. Awesome construction and comfort. So I pinched some extra pennies throughout the year planning on a new UQ to match it this year, and I was not disappointed! I got a full length 0 degree UQ from Underground Quilts, and it is luxurious.

Slept in my new hammock using my new quilt last night. Sooooooooo comfortable! Just in my basement, but over Christmas break I plan to test it outside. Maybe we will have some snow by then...

Yes, they take up a lot of pack space and add a lot of weight when it isn't winter, but I live in the U.P. of Michigan, so that isn't a problem for too much of the year.

Oh, and I splurged on a little extra as an impulse buy. Totally worth it.

Great choice, Paul and Missy and the UGQ team make awesome gear, next to my Dream Hammock Thunderbird my Flightjacket is one of my favorite piece's of gear.

Gorgeous! It looks like you got the TQ too! That's really nice workmanship!

I'm a bit jealous - I'm going to have to wait a bit longer, because a computer glitch had me re-ordering at the end of the night on Black Friday. Patience....

Yep, I might make it a tradition. Save up for another quilt every year. Either that or bite the bullet and try to make one for myself. The 0 degrees are wonderful, but bulky and heavy.

I'm saving for a TQ as we speak. What length is yours, may I ask? Is it full length?

    Thanks!

Singingcrowsings - Mine is full length. I'm glad I went with that. I'm a cold sleeper, and I didn't want to be vexed by cold feet. Plus, at 5'10", it covers me head to toe without too much wiggle room to spare. I'm still getting it fine tuned, but it wasn't as long as I expected.

I also want it to go over my DIY UQ to push the boundaries. I've only been to -4 degrees, but if I keep going to these frozen butt hangs, I'm going to see much colder sooner or later!

Nice looking quilt. He's made me I think 9 quilts now. I still have 7, not a complaint on any of them.
