A weekend on the New River Trail (bikecamping)

Have you ever forgot your top quilt?
I've done it twice now=evidence of Alzheimers? Pre-senile dementia?

I enjoyed your trip report bikepacking and hammock camping. I would like to know more about your packing system, as I have not been able YET to get it all sorted out. Seems like I always have too much stuff, even when forgetting crucial items. Especially with pack weight too high on the bike. Perhaps some pics of things like your fork mounts, bags, packing location, etc.
    Thanks for sharing...

Glad to see my favorite backpacking power couple back at it. How are you (knees) and Lady Poof doing?

Did you just create a new niche product - hammock with integrated top quilt? Perhaps Bones could call it the New River?

Looking forward to RHK, it's been too long....

    MM,

Thanks for taking us along. While I am not a weight weenie, I do watch what I carry for simplicity. That new caldera stove is pretty darn spiffy.

Thanks for sharing this trip. Looks like you had a good time although a little shorter than planned. It's been a long time since I have seen a post of your's here. Hope to see more in the future.

Great video! "We don't need no stinking top quilt. They last longer at home anyway!" I'm pretty sure something got left home on river trip too. But we had spirit!
