Hello everyone! I recently have gotten into hammock camping; I have been camping in campers and tents for years, but had never given hammocks a thought. After sleeping on the ground one too many times I decided to look into other options and found hammocks! I had no idea what hammock camping would all involve and have loved every minute of learning about it. Thanks for all the useful information on this site!

Attend some group hangs if you can. Plenty of folks will share any info with you and a few will let you test their hammocks. Etiquette tip, make sure you have nothing in your pockets and no sharp anything on your person.
