    Liffey Falls, Tasmania, Australia

    It's been quite a while since I have been out for a hang, and so when my mate called up and asked about going for a hang up my way, I jumped at the chance. We headed for Liffey River Reserve, which is a 30 minute drive from my house. This reserve has some nice camp spots, and acts as one of the access points for Liffey Falls which is a popular attraction.

    I won't go into too much detail but I will let the photo's do the talking.

    They are awesome falls. Water is pretty low at the moment but they can get a really good flow during winter.

    That truck is my long-term project - its a 1995 Land Rover Defender 130. I am a bit of a Landy tragic.

    Those were nice photos, beautiful waterfalls, but what kind of critter was that on the tree in photo #10? Hope it didn't try to get into the hammock!! Thanks for sharing the trip with us.

    That's a Brush-tailed Possum. I did hear something scratching around the hammock late at night, and was most likely a possum. They are very good at stealing food.
