Ok, you're calling it a night; so what all

goes with you into your hammock?
I usually have a couple bottles of water stashed close by, a small pill bottle that has a few of the following, tylenol, aspirin, anti-acid, then blistex/chapstix, phone & earbuds, pen/pencil & small tablet, flashlight, my wallet & keys, energy/granola bar, teddy bear/blankie..... My list will vary depending on the the hang, hike, cage, etc. Just curious what some of you like to have close by and how you store it.

Me, my quilt, headlamp hung from the ridgeline, my Kershaw Skyline hung on the ridgeline, if its cold anything with batteries so the cold doesnt drain them faster, possibly 1-2 ounces of alcohol kept in the quilt for my stove in the morning (dont use this stove in winter), Jon

Besides my sleeping gear I keep a light on my ridgeline as well as another flashlight, my pocket knife, and phone in the hammock sack. I also keep a bottle of water close by and also my cook kit for easy morning coffee!

wow, thanks for the tip on the Kershaw Skyline, 71 grams and a 3" blade. I have several Kershaws, I'll think I have another.

Hadn't thought about my cook kit and fuel!

Earplugs, headlamp, car keys, pistol.... The rest can go in the pack and I'll dig them out if I need them.

I love the Skyline, got it specifically for hiking because of its weight but loved it so much it's my EDC now. Decent steel (best I've seen in a sub $100 knife), practical drop point blade, and very fast to deploy...and MADE IN USA.

The reason for the fuel...alcohol fuel doesn't ignite easily (if at all) when the alcohol is cold.

Vape pen, chapstik, sometimes the Kindle.
My lil light stays on the ridgeline, even packed, as does the foam glasses case.
My pocket carry and the phone gets dumped up in the mesh ridge organizer.
My heart medz get dropped in the r-org as soon as I set up. [FYI- two nights medz fit great in an old screwtop L-R contacts container... those are also great to carry just a few ibu & aspirins]

    Thanks!
I've not done any real cold weather camping in some time but may venture that way again this winter. Ha, it's an age thing. When the cold gets into my old bones it takes an act of God and a long hot shower to get it out. Too many years working in the cold I guess. Working on my top quilt now.

I love it! I have a couple old contacts containers. I use to have some of the old aspirin tins, the ones they sold back in the day with 9 or 10 aspirins in it. *sigh* can't find them. I also have an old, old Doan's Pill tin
