    WBBB vs WBBB XLC

Hey everyone, I'm looking to upgrade to either a Warbonnet blackbird or the XLC. I'm 5'10" 240. I know there are other threads about these two, but from what I could tell I'm in between the two. Is there anyone out there that is around my size and has used both? Which was more comfortable for ya? I should also add that I hang with my 35lb beagle most of the time so I would want to have room for the both of us. Any advice is appreciated.

With the need for weight and volume I would go with the xlc double layer

I have a friend that is 5'10". He has the WBBB and loves it. I have both. My first WB was the BB. It was very comfortable even though I am 6'4". I just moved into the XLC at Christmas. I have had a couple of nights in it and it is even more comfortable than the BB

I'm 5'10" and 210# and have both in 1.1 DL. Both are very comfortable. You need to check the WB site for the max weights and then decide if you want a DL or SL. You might need heavier fabric (like 1.7) if you go SL. But can go 1.1 in a DL. But check that with the WB site.

I have the WBBB but wish I had bought the XLC. Shug has a good review on it.

I get a little bit of a calf ridge on the WBBB. I discovered that I really like 11' hammocks after buying one of Dutch's.

I'm 5'10" and pretty wide shouldered though.
