It's a great piece of gear and does everything as advertised. The feeling of privacy from the inside is nice and the look (at least if it's made of multicam) from the inside is pure camo sexiness

+1 on this. In the winter I keep my RR (no net) set up with the spindrift at all times. I keep my pad and UQ on it, too. The UQ stays on with S hooks at each corner. When I break down, I just take out my poles and roll the whole thing up. Set up at next camp is a breeze. When I get home, the whole thing gets set up upstairs, so it can air out. Just finished a trip yesterday in WV. I haven't taken my pad out of my RR since I bought it.

I like it but if it is cold and no wind expect to wake up with a coating of frost on the inside. Felt like I was inside an igloo when I woke up the last time I used it. Got down to the low 20s and I was down in a bottom between hills and there was absolutely no wind. Gotta remember to vent it well next time. That was the last time I used it. Been using my Underquilt protector ever since.

I love my spindift. I zipper is up and sure it gets condensation inside but if it is cold enough it freezes and doesn't bother me.

This is my experience. Also, it seems breathable to a point that if it's windy enough, I don't get much or any condensation at all. That may be different if buckled down tight under a tarp, but without tarp or tarp set up to let some wind through that's been my experience.

It does add a good bit of warmth.

I've been debating hard on whether or not to buy a spin drift, but can't get past the fact of carrying the extra weight if my TQ and Pad have comfortably taken me down to a 14* windchill with 35mph winds, once I'm in the hammock and cozy, I can hear the wind and it rocks me to sleep but isn't bothersome. I am going to try to hit up a group hang and hopefully someone has one I can check out. If it was waterproof, and would shield me from the rain without a tarp, I would jump all over it, but for now I just can't justify one seeing as my tarp is big enough to cut out the wind if I need it to.

I bought a double door Spindrift with my RidgeRunner, I really liked it, I had the RR without netting, which I really liked. I put the Spindrift on, opened both doors, it kept the moisture from the ground from making things damp, when the temp dropped down I closed one door and zipped the other door part way closed, worked great, plus I could see out (a big deal for me). The Spindrift also gave me privacy during a group hang and kept the camp fire smoke away from me. remarkably well. I will purchase a replacement double door spindrift again sometime in the future.
