Cool First Simple Hammock with very tidy knotty mod.

So was time to make my first hammock.
Total weight of 11ft long 60in wide hammock, knotty mods foot and head ends, woopies and adjustable structural ridge line is
    426g or 15oz

I used single layer 1.9oz ripstop polyester for loads upto 300lb
    Tera 60 monofiliment thread.
    Amsteel continuous loops and woopies
Polyester throw line ridge line will swap out to amsteel or dyneema when I find the perfect length.

Brought out the shock cord through a gap in the seam, so no need for melting a hole, seems to work great,
did this both ends of the cord so it can be removed, replaced without any impact to the hammock.

    Overall hammock.

Added internal loop to hang a head shelf
and thinking about making a 1ft long micro hammock out of netting to hang on the ridge line to store stuff would be cool I think.

Nice work. I like your version of The Knotty Mod. I'm getting a delivery of some XL HyperD today and have been thinking of a no-melt version to use.

Ooo I like how you finished the stitching on your Knotty mod
Success doesn't come to you, you go to it.

Oh man, I really like that style for the knotty mod. I used button holes recently for my set up, which I really like. However, your approach is even simpler. I know how I am doing it next time. It would also be easy to mod an existing hammock by just doing two bar tacks and picking the stitches between. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice work! Are your sides 1 fold or a double fold? How much room did you leave in the end channel?

    Well done Tacblades!!
How far from center do you place the knotty mod? Would it be the same distance as the asym pull outs or is done to personal preference?
