    Hanging in Durham, NC

    Thanks for the add! I've been hammocking for 3 years now, but somehow I only discovered this site recently. I love it! I was born & raised deep in the mountains of WV & moved to NC in 2012. I've been camping since before I was born. Literally! It wasn't until I started getting into ultralight backpacking that I considered a hammock. Why didn't I do this sooner? I've never slept this good. Even in a camper. I can't imagine going back to the ground. I'm looking forward to all that this forum has to offer.
