For Sale: DIY Bridge Hammock w/ Integrated Net and Other Features - $120 plus shipping
Details:
1) Body is made from grey 1.0 Hyper D, 7ft long.
2) Head end has been shaped to produce a small "pocket" for your head to keep you neck at a comfortable angle.
3) Hammock features three storage options: one storage pocket on each side of the hammock, and a storage pocket at the head end of the hammock.
4) Has Noseeum mesh bug net that zips closed on 3 sides.
5) Bug net can be unzipped and stowed in a small pocket at the foot end of the hammock.
6) Suspension (through the side channels, and suspension triangle) is made from 2mm Ocean 3000 (similar to dynaglide)
7) Minimum hang distance roughly 11ft, although this can be a bit tipsy. I will include extensions for the head end suspension triangle that can be used to increase the length (and reduce tipsiness), as the cost of hang distance.
Hammock does NOT include apex hardware or spreader bars:
Apex hardware: I used Dutch Whoopie Hooks larks headed to the suspension triangle ends. I have re-purposed this into my current suspension, so are not available to be sold.
Spreader Bars: I used my GG LT4S hiking poles as spreader bars. Head end should be 38", foot end is 30". Materials for spreader bar's can be purchased from Dutch, or Quest Outfitters.
Weight: 10.2oz.
