Yeah it will be ok and looks like 3" of fresh stuff. I just hate above freezing temps...I'm hot-blooded. Speedo will not be packed LOL! I'm looking forward to checking out the river; looks like some nice scenery form the photos I've seen.
I can almost swap my 0° quilts for the 20° set on this one. But I won't just to be safe. Lower MI getting hit hard tomorrow night, so I could be arriving later if the roads are bad.
I also just realized I need to stop near Grayling on the way home to take down a deer stand...that won't be fun.
I am going to head on up there today, and miss the snow in south MI.
I won't be at Big Boy Friday
See you all when you show up
Up to 8" at Green Timbers starting now thru Thursday!!! But 42° on Saturday. Crazy!
Have a safe journey north and we will see you at the Cabin! Looks like this years winter camping season will go out on a high note! You'll wake up tomorrow morning with lots of the white stuff:

I should be getting there around 8:15-8:30 on Friday if the roads are cleared up by then, which I expect they will be. If they are still a mess, I may not make it. 4 hours there normally. With bad roads, make it 6 or 7 hours, so going Friday wouldn't work, and going early Saturday morning to just leave early Sunday doesn't seem worth 8+ hours of road time.
Going to bring some cookies, paper towel & bacon, as the main meals appear to be taken care of. No pulk, so my 40L backpack space is going to be very tight. I'll see if I can strap my insulation on the outside. No snowshoes yet, so I'll bring my X-Country skis and make the call whether I need them when I get there.
Crossing my fingers the weather plays nice this weekend and hope to see everyone there!
Andrew
I'm also hoping the plows get on it...they always do a good job on the highways so I'm feeling OK. This is going to be a good one!
