good, great, i've been waiting for the quilt shells to come on sale. I have maybe 2 pounds of feathers from random coats i cannibalized from goodwill. I love cutting up ski jackets from the 80's and 90's.

Ordered my king topquilt last Saturday. Several emails back and forth with marty. He responded and answered all questions and then some. For 245, I am getting my first new piece of gear since my first piece of gear, a bias camper btw. I compared this to the ghost pepper and could not justify the extra expense for it. 245 for a 15 degree black and grey, sewn footbox with shockcord shoulders. It is 55 x 78 with 900 fp. Thats a great price. I am sure the ghost pepper is also top shelf, but it would have been 60+ more. Marty advised me with the sale, it may be a couple of weeks to get it. Llg had a longer lead time as well. It doesnt matter because my wife put a lid on opening the quilt before christmas. I don't need it until my sons boyscout trip on the 27th. Hope its hear by then. The only thing wl could do to make it a better experience is a shop webcam. I am stoked. Gear I dont have to make....

That Marty guy is such a liar. In this day customer service should be held to a higher standard. When he tells me it will at LEAST 2 weeks to get my top quilt and then he has the nerve of getting it done in 8 days. That wl owl team should be ashamed of themselves. I will now have a longer amount of time to drool all over it before I officially get it on Christmas. THANKS A BUNCH WILDERNESS LOGIC. Way to keep this fellow nc'er completely happy. Let the deliver stalking begin.

I just saw the quilt shells too, very tempting. But might I recommend that you buy some good down to use in the quilt. The down/feathers combo that you find in old coats will have a ton of feathers. The feathers add weight, and a lot of bulk. They do not do much insulating either.

    Ask me how I know.

Don't I know it. He even had the nerve to answer every one of my emails. I bet the quilt will be flawless and toasty warm.
