    Amok v3 reflections : )
I think season 1 with the Amoks in camp saw me in mine about 20 nights and my wife (@ 5'3") pretty much bailed on her Amok after maybe 6 or 7 due to back aches and went into her Hennessy and sleeps like a newborn. She will try her Amok again in April (next official planned trip) but I think she's gonna put it up for sale , (

On my Amok i'm sleeping ok (I'm 5'8") I tend (like others) to find a semi reclined position on my back to yield an amazing sleep. One thing I've noticed is I have a bit of psychological stress in the Amok ( I said "a bit" and it's a small bit). I tend to sense i'm more vulnerable in the Amok than in my WBBB. I know they have the ~same~ fabric between me and the critters, I just feel like i'm more out in the open~! haha. It's partly due to that amazing room inside the thing!!

I'm going to pitch the Amok under the superfly next trip next to my wife and her SF/Hennessy combo.

    YMMV,
    Thom

I haven't slept in my Amok for awhile due to work, but I cut some reflectix to fit on the side to keep from getting cold arms when I moved around. The only issue I have with the hammock is the condensation in the footbox. I don't think it is breathable material and my TQ had condensation on it everytime I used it. I have to find a solution for that. I use a synmat 7 and stayed toasty warm.
