    Not boring TQ for backpacking

My son had a birthday & wants a light quilt for BSA backpacking. His criteria are that it is equivalent to his zero degree synthetic bag, be very light and not use boring colors.

He also wants a zipper so he can go to ground.

    Here's the specs:
1.0 hyperd in lime green and black
Royal Blue thread on green outside
Lime green thread on black inside
    3.25" baffles, differential design
    19oz of 800 FP down,
    4ft parka zipper,
Elastic draw cord at head end,
    Sewn in foot box,
    58" width, 80" length
    Total weight 1lb 14 oz

No boring colors there. He will be the envy of his troop. Be prepared to take orders from the other parents. Me too!!
I would rather be in the woods... my dog would rather be in the pool. My wife thinks we are both nuts.

Thank you all for the kind words!

We are taking it out this weekend for a near freezing weekend--should be fun.
