    Mahoney state Park
    Two rivers state Park
    Platte river state Park
    Louisville state Park

All have spots to hang... Mahoney may be more convenient and has lots of spots near the ponds

If you are willing to venture a little further and want to have a 'hiking trip' kind of feel, I LOVE Indian Cave

++ on Indian Caves, but add 30-45 minutes to the trip

Platte River State park has primitive camping 4 sites near the observation tower.
Latrine near the road/shelter and water near the swings.

Site #2 looked the best to me for hanging and it has a clear short trail to Site #1

Well, I wasn't able to make this affair.
    Sounds like a good turnout.

Would like to get a brief (or detailed) report. Is the lake large enough for paddling?

Both Bluestem and nearby Wagon Train are good for paddling.
