Hi All,
I'd like to announce a new hang for Nebraska - the Nebraska Fools Hang! April 1-3, at lovely Bluestem lake (GPS coordinates 40.6228946,-96.7920866):

A few members of the forum have looked over the site, and there are easily 20 spots to hang in the immediate vicinity, and many more just over the hill. It's a wide-open area, with defined campsites, including picnic tables and fire rings. Fishing in the lake is decent, I'm told, although it is a smaller, no-wake lake. The campground is family-friendly, with lots of area to roam, and a small playground available (swings and slide)

Detail items:
- Each campsite is $8/day (pay by cash/check at self-check-in station)
- A $5/day vehicle permit is required, if you don't have a season pass (Entry permits available here)
- Water is available on site (hydrant)
- Bathrooms are on site (sheltered pit toilets, as befitting a primitive campsite)
- No showers available
- As always, weather in Nebraska is varied - temperatures could be anywhere on the map - and you'll need to plan accordingly.
