Positioning on the Underquilt Protector

I was hanging this weekend in temps that were 35 with winds light and variable. Used HG Burrow and Incubator both rated at 40 with 2 ozs overstuff. Used an underquilt protector and also a JRB summer quilt as a sleeping bag liner. I was toasty warm except a small spot under my tush. I had the underquilt protector loosely hanging under the underquilt. Was this my problem? Should I have snugged it up a little tighter. Did I create a cold air pocket there? I used a sit pad up under my tush and this solved the problem. I just felt that I should have been warm there without it.

It would be the underquilt more than the UQ protector. Best to ke sure the UQ is snugged properly.
