I built a hammock stand yesterday and put in my house today. I tried to down load a pic. but I don't seem to have the knack to do so yet.

You may have to reduce the pictures size, this site will only allow so much memory per picture

Sturdy looking stand. It looks like that should give you a lot of use. Will you be keeping it indoors ?
Just during the winter. I need to learn to feel more comfortable in a hammock. I know to lie diagonally but I seem to always drift toward the middle all the time. About 2 am last night I decided to get into my bed. Not really getting into REM sleep. I've tried several camping trips and haven't slept very well in a hammock yet.
your not alone, it took me awhile too and even now if I experiment and get it off it can take days to get it right again. one thing you are bound to hear that made no sense when I first heard it is to make sure you hang the foot end anywhere from 6 to 12 inches high, it is not a cure all but it is a tremendous help to getting you heading in the right direction.
good luck.
creek.
i find that 3-4 nights will acclimate me and allow great sleep.
Looks great. I ended up just buying one from Hammeck.
Looking forward to setting it up at the house. No trees in my yard.
I came home last night and was so tired. I got my thermorest out and put it in the hammock with the blanket and pillow off the bed. I fail right to sleep and slept all night. I was well rested for today. First good sleep in a hammock.
