Great idea! It's always wonderful to have something to lean your back up against.

Wonderful job, Hogn8r! Thanks for the share.

Nice! Fold it back and under while underway, then loosen it like the butt flap on your childhood Dr Denton's. Fold it forward under you and clip the support straps to it. I have a couple of Lounge Lizard seats I was thinking of adapting, but this fills the bill.

Hey hog, I've got a similar looking chair (stadium chair), all pad and the webbing. I use mine a lot for hunting, have used it in the hammock for a pad/warmth layer. And have been thinking the stadium chair would make a nice shelf for organizing things in camp. I can strap the top of the pad to a tree, adjust the webbing till lower seat section is level, and set camp items on it. It would keep things up off the ground and dry.
I've set it up in the backyard before, it would make a nice table.

Your molly chair looks like it would work in the same fashion? justa thought.

Nice. A lot like the Crazy Creek chairs but uses what you already have.

Exactly Knotty. My 'chair' has a strap/handle at the top and bottom. I can lash the top strap to a tree at the right height, using some cord and the strap. Adjust the seat strap to allow for a level table, so to speak. (not for cooking on)
