Video: Tarp roll-up & the snakeskin air bubble

I was on a recent trip & shot a quick video on how I roll up my Superfly tarp & deal with the snakeskin air bubble.

I see comments every so often complaining about this so hopefully some of you will find this useful.

p.s. thanks to Chappy23 for the assist on the camera.

Good tip, that is one of the reasons I don't use snake skins but I like your method. Thanks for sharing.

just got back from the woods and dealt with this air bubble issue, so this was nice to be one of the first things I see when I got on HF, Ty!

    Glad to help.
I'll admit I thought of this after I had the illogical thought of putting a hole on my tarp because it was driving me crazy. Rejecting that as absurd, it forced me to come up with something better.
And once you do it you'll wonder why you never did it before

I do it similar to you. Once the second half is rolled, I just run my hand down the section to expel it out the end, then pull over the snakeskin.
