It is listed at 10'. It overlaps the Amok with room to spare.

I wonder how well, or even if, a grand trunk funky forest tarp would work? The shape and multiple tie out points should be a decent fit at the very least.

Glad to help. I had this (WB GT) set up last night with the doors closed. We had 25 mph winds, and it was very cozy within.

not sure a replacement tarp is the only way to go, I fired up the sewing machine yesterday and knocked out a prototype side panel. it's only attached by file clips for now, but will eventually be secured with Velcro. i made only the one side to see how well it would work, and set it up on the windward wide of my hammock. it got down to around 7* last night, with the wind chill pushing it into the teens below zero. it worked well. there's even enough room that i could hang my pack from the ridge line, witch must of you know doesn't provide much shelter with the stock tarp. pretty sure I'm going to make the finished panels just a little larger, just so i have some room on the other side to change clothes, stash my boots\stool at night. I'm just not sure if my condensation problem is a result of the lack of air flow, or from the fact that I'm such a warm sleeper? I have considered cutting some reflectics to the shape of the sides of my AMOK to see if that would help. Any thoughts, comments, or tips would be appreciated. I was hoping to have a good cold weather rig in time for the Frozen Butt Hang in January, not looking so good so far.

Your condensation problems could possibly be airflow related. Looks like you have a more "open" tarp than most winter tarps with doors, so I would think it's something else.

Is your second pic the side you're facing when you sleep? Could it be nothing more than your breath freezing on that side of the hammock? Much the same as the frost on a TQ.

My experience with reflectix is that it causes more condensation issues than it will resolve. Being essentially a vapor barrier I doubt you'll be happy with it.

I only considered the reflectix because the only place the condensation very noticeable, was where there was no insulation. the front on my quilt could be from by breath, but the second pic with the frost is at my hip level? kind of where the quilt opens up on the back? could be the AMOK just isn't a very good cold weather hammock. wont stop me from trying though! i stayed out all night, and never packed up my gear today, and all the frost sublimated away after a few hours. the frost isn't a deal breaker, just an inconvenience.

Could be heat escaping from your open quilt, I'd try an extra jacket or something similar. With all that extra fabric inherent to the design I bet your correct, it's less than ideal for winter hanging. I wonder what they do when the cold weather hits over there??

I'm having Charlie at Mountain Wilderness custom make me a 9x10 with doors out of membrane for my Amok. It should do the trick. It's much like the wb gt mentioned earlier.
