Exclamation Enlightened Equipment is now offering 950 down on UQs

Are these going to be the lightest down UQs on the market?

Maybe, we'll see if people will pay the premium for it. $200+ for 2-3oz is quite a bit...vs the 800fp.

Comparing similar to similar (75" 20*F Revolt vs Incubator 20) you're looking at $160 for about 1.5oz benefit.

What about the compressability advantage of 950 down vs 800 on 2 week+ hikes. How much space savings in your backpack is 950 over 800. I know the weight is small, but the extra space is intriguing.....

That's quite pricey. You can get an HG 0* Incubator standard (78" long), with 850 fill (Dri-Down) for $279 and it weighs 26.4 ounces.

Or you can get a 950 fill EE Revolt 0* UQ (75" long) for $510 that weighs 24.53 ounces. So it will weigh 1.87 ounces less and cost about twice as much. Not much of a choice if you ask me.

Negligible, IMO. The amount of space you'll save is equivalent to 2 or 3 oz of down, which compressed is a few square inches. In the grand scheme of things, it's not worth it. There are better, cheaper ways to save space, than with a higher FP quilt.
