A friend of mine has confirmed he's going. We'll bring drinks or a side or firewood or something.

I'm getting pretty pumped! I kinda wish it was this weekend with the weather. I've never been to Star Gap arch and would like to find it; it'll be close to us, at the end of Tunnel Ridge Rd.

Not too hard to find and pretty cool. It does require a little bit of a scramble...Unless there's another way I don't know about.

Dagnabit!
The wife was just talking about wanting to get out and hammock camp again sometime soon, it will be her second time; This would have been the perfect opportunity. Unfortunately I'm taking the Scout troop out for a "Winter" camp out that weekend. We will be in RRG but over at Indian Creek. We plan on a small day hike on Saturday to Daniel Boone's cabin. Have several new scouts, and Dad's, to break in this weekend.
It always seems like I have prior obligations when these group hangs come around. Guess I'll have to arrange one myself to guarantee I can make the dates.
You all enjoy yourselves. I know I will.
I'm in with a total of 4. Two traveling in on Thursday and two on Friday and all staying until Sunday. I will have Dutch ovens in tow. We are thinking biscuits with dinner and a pineapple upside down cake for after. If that conflicts with someone's plans, just let me know and we will adjust.
