Been hammock camping for a few years now and have always slept on my side, never on my back. The choice never crossed my mind actually, I just did it. Left or right, equally comfy. 5'10" tall, 178 pounds and sleep in a WL Night Owl which is double layer and 11'.

Oh and sleep on my side with a pad, with an UQ and both depending on conditions.

I just bought the 90 degrees hammock which is very similar to the exped ergo but much lighter. Excellent for side and stomach sleeping, using an air mattress. In my opinion the sleeping position is better then the warbonnet ridgeline which I have owned before.

Thanks for posting about the 90 degrees hammock....I have never heard of that one. I'm going to have to check it out!

Nice pic of the Amok also...Thanks Shug (and for your videos on the Amok...those were very helpful).

By the way, happywizz, which model of the 90 degrees hammock did you get? Did you purchase one of the tarps as well?
