    Achieving a good hang angle

    Here's a little info on dialing in a good 30 degree hang angle.

    I always rely on the figer thumb method. But somehow my ridge line is always too tight. I just live with it that way though.

    Basic Hammocking 101 , Thanks for thr refresher Papa Smurf , the thumb and finger method is how i learned to dial my set up in at first, now i am pretty good at just eyeballing it but it took some time.
    Gave my wife one of Tato's Hangles but she still has me check hers anyway, i dont mind as long as she is happy to go hanging then i'm happy.

    i usually eyeball it in, or use the ridge line tension as a guide, but there's plenty of free smartphone apps available - search for clinometer and spend hours getting it dialled in to 30.0 degs!
