    Wasn't there a hammock that hung from its sides?

    Call me crazy but I sware I remember it, sort of like that little hemmock only its full size.

    Yes, there are different ones. The latest and lightest which I've reviewed is the 90 degrees hammock (hammocktent.com). Excellent hammock if you want to use a pad.

    All my hammocks hang from the sides. The 'head' side and the 'foot' side.

    Perspective is an interesting thing. :-)
