Short delay in shipping the first order. Poles haven't arrived yet. I should ship within 48 hours of receiving them (I do have a real job). In the meantime I have come up with another foot option. Both are easily replaceable with stuff from a hardware store.

Quick picture of one of the new poles. I'm finishing up Build #1 today. This one is a cork handgrip, fixed length (120 cm) with Flex Tech tip. The pair are headed to the Netherlands

    Instructions for Use
     Trekking mode
o Slide the desired Foot onto the Mid-pole assembly and secure with the spring button.
o Slide the Upper pole assembly into the Mid-pole assembly. Adjust length as desired using the spring button.
     Mono-Pod mode
o Adjust the pole height using the spring button. Add the Hammock extension for additional height
    o Remove the Top knob
o Screw the camera onto the exposed screw and tighten using the threaded washer
     Hammock mode set up
o Slide the Top and Mid-poles together until the inner (smaller) pole is completely enclosed
o Remove the Foot and attach it to the bottom of the Hammock extension
 If using the Flex Tech foot, remove and store this foot
o Connect the Hammock extension to the bottom of the trekking pole
    o Remove the Top knob
o Slide the truss supports out of the storage socket and slide the truss line loop over the top screw assembly
o Slide the Truss hub into the marked position ½ way up the entire pole
o Insert the 3 truss supports into their sockets. It is easiest to do this and the following step on one truss at a time
o Slip the Truss end caps over the Truss supports. Pull gently like drawing an arrow to do this
o Thread the circular truss line through the 2 end caps and pop it over the end of the last end cap
o Slip the guylines and hammock suspension over the screw assembly and replace the Top knob.
     Hammock mode storage
    o Remove Top knob
o Remove hammock suspension and guylines
o Pop the circular truss line off the end cap and unthread it from 2 end caps
o Pop the Truss end caps off the Truss supports. Pull gently on the End caps like drawing an arrow to do this
o Remove the Truss lines from the top of the pole and replace the Top knob
o Remove the Truss supports and return the Truss hub to the Hammock extension pole
o Disconnect the Hammock extension from the trekking pole
o Insert each Truss support into the storage hole and wind the truss lines in a crossing fashion around the individual support. Do this for the 3 supports and line
o Switch the foot to the trekking pole (if no using the Flex Tech foot)
    o Store in the bag.

    Truss line adjustments:
Each truss line has a small UCR loop at the end for adjustments to each truss line. Adjustments are made without tension on the line. The small line stops to keep the truss end caps in position will slide (with force) if they need repositioning.

    WEIGHT CAPACITY:
NoGround adjustable poles have passed a 24 hour static 287# hammock load, and multiple nights with a 140# hammocker. In both situations the pole felt very solid. Because of variations in ground quality and geometric set-up there is NO guarantee of weight capacity. Use the system at weights greater that 220# with caution. As with all hammock related activities – Hang or use at your own risk.

First Build shipped! Whew. 4 days behind my desired date, but then again my raw poles arrived after my weekend work opportunity. With any luck my buyers will post feedback (positive and negative) soon. Everything was shipped Priority mail.

Got mine today and they went together well. Watched the video a few times while I assembled them just to be sure and not mess them up. Can't wait to give them a good trial run. Maybe this week.

Can two of them be used together in a no tree area?

Yes. Each pole replaces a tree or other support. Most of my testing has been with 2 poles (although only one was a NoGround).
