    Hello,

What was the ZIP Code? This was Amsteel Blue? Any particular color?
(you can PM me if you don't want to say here).

I work with some of the backend on the web site and I would be glad to take a look at the shipping code again, because if I price out 30 ft of 1/8" Amsteel Blue (regular) delivered to Miami, FL from here, Priority Mail is only $4.95 through the web site. If we have the weight wrong on one of the variants or something, I'd appreciate your help in narrowing that down.

    Thanks!

Dutch has 1/8" now. If you needed something else from dutchwaregear that might be an option.

+1 on Dutchware. He is now an Amsteel distributor. Buy a few peices of Dutchbling (you know you want some) and addy the Amsteel to the order. Dutch Ti is so light it nearly ships for free

If all you need is less than $20 of Amsteel and/or lash-it or Zing-it and similar dyneema just call up a local boat, sailboat, paddle-sport, kayak shop or arborist supplier, or "ATV" wench supply etc. They most likely have spools of it they sale by the foot for a very good price. My guess is that for every foot used by hammock hangers about 1000-10000 is used for other applications. I am just trying to be objective here.

I shopped around a bit, Dutch was by far the best deal. Granted, that was a bit ago when he had a sale, but still, his shipping prices were far lower than anywhere else. I do have a West Marine that I could have gone to, but a 45 minute drive each way vs a 2-3$ shipping charge is no contest! Came in very quickly too.

Another +1 for Dutch right here. I got some 7/64 and 1/8 the other day, and it got to me quick, and at a good price.
It was my first order, and now I'm sure I'll order again.
