    Simple Ridgeline Organizer

I thought I would share my simple RLO. One problem I have had with my earlier versions was the RLO sliding together when items are put in.

First I cut .9 oz no see-um approx 18"x19". I then roll hem all sides. You could do a single fold hem, I just like the way this looks better.
Fold where there is about 1/2" gap from one side to the other.

I use a flat elastic sewn into the seam to attach mitten hooks.

I then make two Prussik knots out of an inexpensive micro cord.

Attach Prussik knots to ridgeline. I use amsteel 5/64 for the ridgeline.

Clip mitten hooks to Prussiks and your done. Allows the RLO to be moved but will not bunch up when items are added to the RLO.

    Thanks for looking!

I apologize if Taptalk rotates the pictures.

Haha, well I don't know if my mind qualifies for great, it just stumbles onto some good ideas now and then. Your RLO organizer looks awesome!

I have been using "pony-tail" elastics from the $$Store as prussics for this kind of lightweight application. Two twists, and they grip very well. They also have the advantage that you can use them to bundle up the RLO for packing.

I also use one with a single twist to loop the temple of my glasses thru at night so that they don't slide around or "sproing" off the ridgeline either.

Nice. Good job. Those organizers do tend to move around unless they're anchored.

I just started something similar... will post up when I'm done.

Thanks for posting this idea! It's another thing I'm going to 'borrow' from this forum...
