    Loco Libre- AWESOME

I approached George a few months back with a sketch I had made that I though was pretty cool. But it seemed like an impossibly difficult sewing job.. Way outside my comfort zone. I expected him to say no, but he accepted the challenge.

We had a lot of design changes along the way: Colors not looking right together so some had to be swapped.. It started as a down quilt, but we ended up with synthetic because it looked better.. no baffles to risk messing up the design.

I'm insanely happy with how it turned out. It's my 4th quilt from George, and my second custom piece. If you have any doubts of the quality to come out of this vendor, I ask you to hunt me down at any hang I'm at, and you can see these pieces up close.

I've included a copy of the original sketch for the dragon below.

In order from L to R: 50° Sewn through Multicam Ghost Pepper. "Dragon" 7.5oz CS Apex Habanero. "Sir Charlie Brown" 35° (Early Prototype) Ghost Pepper. 40° Multicam Habanero

These are phenomenal. George's work is beautiful and your designs and choices are great.

I'm completely envious of this collection.

Glad USPS finally let you have your dragon, lol. Funny thing is you have four more LLG quilts than I do right now (since mine are all loaned out).

Thank you . But no need to be envious! Drop a line to George and start your own collection

Charlie Brown is my favorite. I looked at the zig zag baffles and that was the only color combo I wanted. The inside is woodland camo, and it's fully reversible in case I ever need to blend in (is, hunting)

Looking at the detail on the dragon.. it's simply amazing. Matching thread colors to every piece of HyperD that make up that quilt.
