I approached George a few months back with a sketch I had made that I though was pretty cool. But it seemed like an impossibly difficult sewing job.. Way outside my comfort zone. I expected him to say no, but he accepted the challenge.
We had a lot of design changes along the way: Colors not looking right together so some had to be swapped.. It started as a down quilt, but we ended up with synthetic because it looked better.. no baffles to risk messing up the design.
I'm insanely happy with how it turned out. It's my 4th quilt from George, and my second custom piece. If you have any doubts of the quality to come out of this vendor, I ask you to hunt me down at any hang I'm at, and you can see these pieces up close.
