I'm in weston (by wausau), so just a few hours away, and we have no lake ice and many of the rivers are near flood stage! Crazy how different it can be such a short distance apart. I hear the flambeau river is open. I'm thinking about a kayak trip before the year is over!

I get back from a work trip on the 14th, so I'm on the fence with even visiting, but the new location would make it easier. Still following. I can't go below 30 degrees with my setup, so unless January is crazy warm, don't count me as an over-night guest.

We should do a big grill fire Friday night. barren23 I bought old sleeping bags in a year past before I had insulation and was warm. Just bring a bunch of extra blankets. It will be a lot of fun.

I don't live far from there, not on call that weekend, don't see why I wouldn't be able to attend. I'm following this event for sure.
