2015 Michigan Fall Hang & Chili Festival

Had a wonderful food filled weekend with all of you! Don't know the official head count, but here is the group shot! (minus Quincy and I)

The gear raffle each year becomes more and more the main event; there will be a $1685 donation made to the North Country Trail Association after all expenses were covered.

A thank you to all the vendors and members who donated their products and time. Missy and Paul (UGQ) continue to go above and beyond for this event, and your efforts do not go unnoticed.

Thanks to the cooks, and kitchen staff who selflessly slaved over burners seemingly nonstop to keep us all uncomfortably full! (chili time!)

The weather was perfect, the sunset Saturday night over the lake was amazing, and once the sun was down the fire was hot!

Woohoooo!!! What a great time. That sunset was amazing, amazing pics Boudah. Always a fabulous time with great people. Sad that the weekend goes so quick.

Yes Patrick is right, it was mine, the boards was a quick proof of concept, the plan is to do something in aluminium, it worked great, the tarp was a kelty noahs tarp 16ft, I setup the spreader with 3 positions, the outside positions were too wide, the inside allowed us to hang close enough to almost touch, the middle holes were enough space to access the gear sling between us, I can give you some dimensions or any other info you like.
