I have the grand trunk skeeter beater and am very pleased with it. Have made some minor modes to it. What has made a better hammock out of it for me was put a head in spreader bar. Slide the cord out othe folded end, then i put a 1"×36" oak dowel rod from Lowes @ 5 dollars. Drilled a hole on either end then run a line from each hole up to a carabiner, the secret is to get your spreader bar level before you tie it off. I don't get the shoulder squeeze, better side sleep, and your sleeping gear doesn't get so bunched up. Hope this help's and happy hanging.
