Got a couple buddies and we headed out for a good night in the hammock.
We set out on the Barlow Trail..but not before breakfast at Hucks in Government Camp.
We set out from Barlow Snow Park at the PCT intersection. Hiked about 6 miles and found the perfect hammock spot.. it was a bit early, but we couldn't resist the location so we set up camp.
We took a page out of the Lord of Lollygag's manual and did just that.. lollygaged all day in camp and just relaxed.
AWESOME night in the hammock and then a quick 2 mile hike out on Sunday.. what a great way to spend a weekend.
Here is a short video that kinda captured some of the overnighter.
Of note, two of the guys are new to hammock camping, so much time was spent of tweeking and talking gear.
Have a Great Scouting Day!
