I don't think they are available online at all, regardless of country... One of those in store items only. I would call the store and see if they are getting some/more though. It seems that the one near me resupplied, which tells me while this is seasonal, it's not a one skid a season item and gone.
working on my UQ now, but I have glorious plans for a TQ afterwards (I hope), using pieces of unused JCP's I still have and a Costco throw. The JCP part will be the foot box. I plan to take a side of a front panel, folded in half, making a piece about 10x10, and use that as double layered flat bottom. I then plan to take the quilt, sewn up the side of the bottom about a foot and a half or two, and sew the bottom piece of the JCP around the bottom perimeter of the throw.
My goal and hope is that by doing this, the quilt will not lose any length as I assume it would, if I simply sewed the bottom of the throw to itself. Does this make sense and do you guys think this design will be successful? Do you think it will then be long enough for a guy who is 5'11, about 190 lbs?

Very nice work...I wished I had a Costco near me
Looks great.
An old thread, but perfect for my purposes. I had just rejected the idea of making a Costco TQ by folding asymmetrically when I found this. Love what you've done here, blide!
Mine will be modular and adjustable (single- or double-layer); the two modules are mirror images of one another (though the inner quilt is narrower across the bottom).
It's a work in progress (I'm still working out how to secure the two quilts together in double mode) but here's a snap of the semi-assembled double mode. (I'll post more pix as they become available).
