Looks like I missed another great hang. My hammock misses me.
I was too busy checking out everyone else's rigs that I did a ****** job at hanging my own! I have calf pain from having my hammock too tight! I noted that I couldn't get real diagonal when I went to bed, but not enough of my brain was working to realize the cause. The fact that all my extra fabric (double nest deluxe) was wrapped around me tightly should have been all I needed to figure it out.... Live and learn! Sore calves and hips for a day ought to burn the memory. I hope.
Back to the basics! Hang evenly spaced between anchors! 30 degree angle! I messed both of those up!
Practice makes perfect!! Do you have a ridgeline on the Eno?? They're a huge help and make setup almost a no brainer........almost, don't ask how I know
and we miss you skiwag, more hangs coming up
Great pics TW, if you could just get that clown sporting the HF buff to quit hogging the camera.......
Those that missed this hang..... you missed a good one!!
Thanks for the offer, not sure what I'll do yet. I've got an ice fishing sled, but it's pretty heavy to pull a long distance. I've pulled it out on the lake with my ice shack, Auger and gear, witch is quite a bit heavier than my hiking gear. Then again we might not have enough snow to worry about it. If there isn't much snow, I'll just hike it all in.
