I wish I had opened the shop for European hangers already but bureaucratic barriers in Germany are tough, though. I think it will last till the end of october.

But if you give me a list of items you would like to order I will send back an offer today.

Please contact me by mail [email protected] or by PM

    Thanks

    Sheesh.

In Europe you should look for dyneema instead of amsteel.

Just bought a 100m reel of 2.5mm dyneema off eBay from a fella in Germany. Any UK backpackers want some?

I have been looking for some Amsteel in Europe to no avail. The closest thing I have found is FSE Robline Ocean 3000 which is made with SK75 Dyneema fibre. There is also the Ocean 3000 XG made with SK78 fibre. Sold on rolls of 25 meters (82 ft).

Can someone with any insight in amsteel/dyneema ropes confirm that these two ropes are almost identical (Amsteel vs Ocean 3000)?

Anyway, I just ordered some amsteel from Dutch. Way cheaper than the the Robline Ocean 3000. Even with shipping av tax

That stuff is rated about 50kg less than amsteel blue, but other than that it seems identical. They do a 1.5 that should be comparable to zing it for tarps.
