As long as you're going to buy some hardware from Dutch, why not get Zing-It from him for your CRL and buy a separate ridgeline from him at the same time? I wouldn't want to limit myself to only using a single size of line for everything.

I have the option to get some Dutchbling from someone in my country who is selling some. Having stuff shipped from the US is ridiculously expensive that's why I won't be buying it directly from Dutch, even though I would prefer to. But the shipping rates are killing. This is not a Dutch only issue. I have left many shoppingcart just because of the shippingcosts.
I keep learning and will never know enough.

Makes total sense. You might want to send a note to him. His usual means of shipping is by mail and the package can be quite small. He doesn't seem to soak people with handing fees that so many big catalog companies do. It might be possible that an order could possibly justify the charge for international mail.

Oh just to add. This is totally NOT Dutch his fault or anything. Shipping stuff is just expensive and if I have to pay let's say $8.50 for shipping for a $2.50 item, I am going to have to decline .

what I've noticed with dutch's hooks and flea is the catches are a little tight with zingit. Not a big deal most of the time, but I think it will be a bit of a PITA if my hands are cold. The flea and hooks are so tiny that it's takes a little effort too unhook the lines, especially the dutch hooks. The wing on the flea, the part that locks the line so it don't slip, is really tight too and seems to be damaging the line a little. I may switch back to my figure 9 for the tarp RL. This is just my one weekend experience.

I only mention this because you are using slightly larger line than the zingit. The holes where you make the permanant attachments are probbobly big enough, but the parts you mess with on set up and take down might be a little too tight.

Look up HF member Verdugo [France]... He was asking about zing-it/lash-it a week ago.
Maybe you could go in on a full spool with him and split the costs.

I am afraid it will cut the fabric (ripstop nylon). But the fact is, I also want to use this 1.75 dyneema for my tarp and Dutch bling (dutch hook and wasp) can only handle a max of 1.75 mm and I don't want to buy two different sizes of line.
I bought the Whoopie Structural Ridgeline and for < $18 shipped, it was well worth it to me. That said, it uses 2.2mm Dyneema (I got the Yellow), fwiw. The write up mentions the 1.75mm: 'The red line is made from 1.75mm Dyneema with an average strength of 500 pounds and is only recommended for hammock hang weights under 200 pounds.'

Have you tried attaching it to Dutch bling?

Admittedly, no. I'm using it on a stock eno doublenest (clipped on the carabiners). I posted that mainly for the reference regarding weight relative to the thickness.
